The Cowgirls exploded for 15 runs on 15 hits to run-rule Lewisville Fighting Farmers softball 15–2, using a dominant stretch from the second through fifth innings to take complete control.

After falling behind 2–0 in the first, Coppell responded immediately with a four-run second inning, then kept the pressure on with four more in the third, three in the fourth, and four in the fifth to seal it early.

This was a complete offensive performance. Five different players recorded multi-hit games.

Madison Scott delivered one of the biggest swings of the night, going 2-for-4 with two triples and a game-high five RBIs.
Emma Praytor was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI, while also anchoring things defensively behind the plate.
Cecilia Bourque continued her strong run, finishing 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs.
Nicole Jimenez added two hits and two RBIs, and Abbie Pison chipped in a pair of hits and two RBIs of her own.

On the mound, Coppell got a steady combined effort. Lena Gay tossed two scoreless innings to settle things after the first, and Lilija Bowen closed it out with three innings and five strikeouts to secure the win.

Coppell’s ability to respond after the early deficit and then stack quality at-bats inning after inning was the difference. Once the lineup got rolling, there was no let-up.

The Cowgirls will look to carry that momentum into their next matchup against Braswell on April 11 at noon at the Coppell Softball Complex.
