The Coppell Track & Field program turned in an impressive day of competition with multiple event wins, podium finishes, and strong relay performances on both the girls and boys sides, highlighting the team’s depth across sprints, distance, hurdles, and relays.

On the girls side, Coppell picked up several standout performances on the track.
In the 100-meter dash, Hannah Polito captured first place with a winning time of 12.34, leading a strong sprint group that also saw Ella Corry finish second. The girls continued their success in the hurdles, where Mia Schuller claimed first in the 100-meter hurdles, while Yena Chae and Rachana Ambati followed with second- and third-place finishes.

The 300-meter hurdles produced another victory for Coppell, as Rachana Ambati took first, supported by solid finishes from Makena Robinson and Eliana Acuna. In the 400-meter dash, Sophia Williams dominated her heat to earn first place, while Coppell distance runners also made an impact. Finleigh Sanders-Burk finished second in the 1600-meter run, and Laurel Storey added a third-place finish in the same event. In the 3200-meter run, Anusha Patki placed fifth to lead the Cowgirls.

Coppell’s relay teams were a major highlight of the meet. The girls swept both heats of the 4x100-meter relay, earning first place in each, and added runner-up finishes in the 4x200-meter relay. The 4x400-meter relay squads closed the day with second- and third-place finishes.

On the boys side, Coppell delivered strong performances across multiple events, led by victories in the middle distance and hurdles. Tanish Neelapu earned first place in the 800-meter run, while also placing seventh in the 1600-meter run. In the 1600, Coppell finished one-two, with Allan Ramirez taking first and Abishek Suresh finishing second.

The Cowboys were dominant in the hurdles. Usman Syed won both the 110-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles, while Miguel Lopez-Dos Santos added podium finishes in both events, including a third-place finish in the 110s. In the sprints, Carter Zingelmann placed second in the 200-meter dash, and John Jaquish followed with a second-place finish in the 400-meter dash.

Distance depth showed again in the 3200-meter run, where Coppell had multiple top-three finishes, including Vihaan Sahni (second) and Sidharth Kerthipati (third).

Coppell’s relay teams capped the meet with strong showings, including a second-place finish in the 4x100-meter relay, a third-place finish in the 4x200-meter relay, and a runner-up result in the 4x400-meter relay.
