The boys wrestling team traveled to Oklahoma this weekend for their tournament. The 45th annual Putnam City Invitational is a very competitive and prestigious tournament each year. The boys took 4th place overall between 20 teams. Team captain Brand Felts took first place in the 215 lb. weight class. He was the only Coppell wrestler to win their bracket. Other wrestlers who made it to the championship bracket include Liam Urick-3rd place, Josh Perez-5th place, Roman Estes-5th place, Liam Gatlin -4th place, Max Tatsumi -5th place, Sebastian Tobias-5th place, Sebastian Sabau Riquer -5th place, and Sehej Mehta- 7th place. Wrestlers who placed first in the consolation bracket include Sebastian Ramos, Duncan Ross, and Xandor Estes.
