This was a matchup with Nationally Ranked Top 10 North Crowley in the Regional Semi-final. Coppell came out firing with a touchdown on the first drive of the game and would rely on O'Marion Mbakwe's legs as he scored 3 first half touchdowns to go into halftime tied 21-21. In the second half, Coppell started by intercepting North Crowley for the 2nd time in the game on a great sideline catch by Junior Tyrell Roberson. The Cowboys moved the ball easily into the red-zone 3 times in the second half but could only muster 3 points as their season came to an end 35-24. The Cowboys completed the season at 12-1 and broke multiple school records. Quarterback Edward Griffin completed his career as Coppell's all-time leader in Passing Yards (6674) and broke season records for passing yards (3466) and touchdown passes (41). Our dynamic receiving duo also etched their names into the record books as Harry Hassmann broke the record for season receiving touchdowns (18) and season reception yards (1350). Tucker Cusano finished his career with 26 career touchdowns (2nd All-Time) and 1753 yards (2nd All-time). As an entire unit, the Cowboys averaged 43.3 points per game, another school record.
