This week the cowgirls varsity competed in the Region 1 golf championship. They shot 303/304 to secure second place and a spot in the 6-6A state championship at White Wing in Georgetown on May 6th and 7th. Also, sophomore Nethra Sheri shot 71/73 for 3rd overall. Alicia Bellendir shot 74/76 tied for 6th; Riya Bapna carded 78/74 for 8th. All region honors for these three! Isabell Nguyen played her best of the year with an 83/81. And Freshman Sabrina Tam shot 80/88. Great job Cowgirls!
