It’s day two of the Hays Tournament and the first game of the day is against Southlake Carroll. By the end of the first quarter the Lady Dragons are up, 17–13. With a great assist by Atia Medenica the Cowgirls are tied with the Lady Dragons 17-17 at the beginning of the second quarter. By the end of the first half the Cowgirls are trailing 37-25. A timeout is called by the Cowgirls with 4:20 left in the third quarter. The score is 44-31, Carroll. By the end of the third the Cowgirls are down, 50-36. With 6:30 left in the fourth quarter, Maddie Nguyen takes a charge, forcing the Lady Dragons to take a timeout. A timeout is called by the Cowgirls with two minutes to go. The score is 57-50. HC Haring makes a three with thirty five seconds to go. The score is now 59-53, Carroll. The final score is 62-56, Carroll.

The second game of day two is against Hays High School. While The Cowgirl started off strong against the Lady Hawks, they ultimately lost their 5 point lead and are now trailing 53-42 going into the fourth quarter. With 6:45 left in the 4th, the Cowgirls call a timeout. The Cowgirls lose 74-55 to the Lady Hawks.
