During the Friday night game the cowboys had a close loss to the Flower Mound Jaguars 0-3. With Bryan Raitz on the mound we kept them scoring one of their lowest in district. A controversial play of the night-It was the top of the 4th inning, and Flower Mound was up to bat with 2 outs. They hit a solid ground ball straight to Michael Russell (Second Baseman) who immediately threw it to Andrew Shultz (First Baseman) for the third and final out. Andrew turned toward the dugout and began walking. However, the Flower Mound batter was still sprinting to first base. This resulted in a collision between Andrew and the unaware runner unfortunately mistaken as obstruction.
