What a great game played by both teams at the district playoffs. Unfortunately for the Lady Cowgirls they fell short but played an amazing game of soccer. First half was very 50-50 with chances on goal from both teams. Ella Spiller gave a boost to the midfield and took on players when needed. Monica Morales, Emma Fanous, and Tatum Escobar also had great games. To add on, the Cowgirls defense did a great job staying composed in 1v1 situations. First half ended in a tie 1-1 On to the second half the strong Allen team was able to put in a few goals and had a very technical forward line that was difficult to defend for a final score of 1-5. Cowgirls defense made sure to stand their ground for the team though. All in all, what a great season it has been for the Cowgirl Soccer team win and build together constantly finishing 16-8-3.
