This has been a rivalry for many years and now they’re finally facing off in playoffs. The Cowgirls were able to start off strong and get a strong lead in the first. At the beginning of the second the Cowgirls and Dragons were back and back by the end of the first half, the Cowgirls were up 32-23. As the third quarter came the Cowgirls were slow at the start but ended up coming back and keeping the lead, 39-29. The Cowgirls call a timeout during the fourth with 5:30 to go, they’re up 41-34. The Dragons call a timeout in the fourth with 2:45 left in the game. The Cowgirls still up, 41-36. With a minute left in the fourth both Jules, Macey, and Waverly scored freethrows to increase the Cowgirls lead to 47-39. The Cowgirls finished strong with a final score of 51-41!
