At John Clark stadium on Monday February 13 the cowboys looked to regain their momentum by getting a win against the Plano Senior Wildcats. To start off the game, 10 minutes in, the wildcats score off of a miscommunication in the back line, making the score 1-0 in favor of the wildcats. But with 23 minutes left in the first half senior forward Alfred Fairchild chips a through ball into the box where Junior midfielder Sam Stone can just touch the ball into the goal; scoreboard 1-1. Going into the second half the cowboys wanted to bring it back and finish out the game strong with a win, but with 20 minutes left on the clock the wildcats were able to put another goal away bringing the score 2-1 in favor of the wildcats. With 10 minutes left until the final whistle the cowboys were given a free kick at around the 25-yard line with senior midfielder Ryder Brock stepping up to take the kick, and as the ref blew the whistle, he steps up and bangs the shot into the top left corner bringing the score to 2-2. The cowboys finish out the game strong with a multitude of promising but unfinished opportunities and came up just short of a win.
