Regionals is the meet to be at for CHS swimmers. With a chance at state on the line, many swimmers see best times. We had all of our athletes make it to Finals of regionals. They had to place top 18 out of upwards of 40 swimmers to stay in. Our swimmers had their best ever performance with nine swimmers advancing to the state meet and multiple records. Gabe Campos was the only freshman from Coppell to qualify for regionals and advanced to state in three of his four events. The girls ended 7th overall and Boys 3rd overall with the team placing 4th overall in points scored against a tough field of opponents including metroplex districts of Lewisville, Allen, Prosper, Plano, Richardson, Highland Park, McKinney, Denton, Arlington Martin, and Dallas Jesuit.
