The Cowgirls went into the game strong knowing they were against a tough team. Many opportunities were made by the forwards, but the Cowgirls weren’t able to put the ball in the back of the net. The Cowgirls midfield worked so hard trying to possess and win the ball. Unfortunately, Marcus was able to put a few goals in from one v ones up top. Cowgirls defense also worked and fought against their forwards. Center back Hannah Rosson had a very good game, clearing the ball when needed and distributing which calmed down the game. Also, Goalie, Kelsey Clark had magnificent saves against the very fast Marcus forwards, she made sure the ball never got past her. Both teams played very well, and The Cowgirls strive to win their next game. Cowgirls move 10-2-3 overall and 3-1-1 in District Play.
