The Cowboy wrestling team took 5th place out of 20 teams in the prestigious Putnam City Invitational in Oklahoma City this past weekend. The tournament was won by nationally ranked Edmond North HS. The team was led by senior Isaiah Francis, who remained undefeated on the season and took home the tournament Championship at 190 pounds. Elijah Houston was third place. Noah Hotta and Jamie Cameron were 4th place. Jacob Abraham and Momo Abbasher were 5th place. Sehej Mehta, the only freshman on the varsity team, finished out the placers with a 6th place. The team next competes at the War Games Tournament at Frisco Memorial on December 10th.
