The Coppell Cowboys concluded their historic season by earning a bronze medal at the UIL 6A state meet. The team averaged a 16:26 5k on a tough state course following only Austin Vandergrift and Southlake at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. Andrew Mullen ran a 15:56 placing 7th and number five runner Samuel Martinson surged past 3 Woodlands runners in the last mile to secure the podium finish for Coppell.
