Coppell stole the lead late and defeated Flower Mound 4-2 on Tuesday.
In the second inning, The Cowboys got their offense started. Coppell scored two runs when Andrew Schultz doubled, but Flower Mound was able to even things up at two in the bottom of the fourth inning. With the game tied at two and Coppell batting in the top of the sixth Bradley Castillo singled on a 1-0 count, scoring the go ahead run.
TJ Pompey toed the rubber for Coppell. He surrendered two runs on six hits over six innings, striking out five.
Schultz led Coppell going 3-3 with a double and 3 RBI's.
