TJ Pompey threw a gem on Tuesday for the Cowboys allowing zero runs and besting Plano East by a score of 3-0. Pompey struck out nine in the outing giving up only two hits.

Andrew Nester led Coppell with two hits in three at bats. Walker Polk had a clutch RBI Double in the bottom of the 6th to extend the Cowboy lead.

The win puts the Cowboys 10-1 in district with the second game of the Plano East series happening this Friday at Plano East.
