The Cowboys and Cowgirls honored their senior wrestlers and athletic trainers last night prior to their match with Grapevine High School.
The senior bios are listed below.
In the match, both teams wrestled to a tie.
Winners for the girls team were: Scout Carrell, Sarah Valadez, and Cassie Bonacci.
Winners for the boys team were: Noah Karangira, Jorge Sanchez, Anurag Sarkar, Kris Salazar, Noah Hotta, Jarod Troup, and Jamie Cameron.
For the JV: Christian Badillo, Sebastian Tobias, Noah Hoenig, and Momo Abbasher, were all victorious.

Coppell Wrestling Seniors:
Maria Husain – Maria is a 4 year letterwinner for the Cowgirls and is this year’s Team Captain. She is a three-time all-district selection, a two –time regional placer, State Qualifier and returning State Placer. She is currently the number one ranked wrestler in the state. She plans on attending Texas A&M and studying in the Biomedical field.

Sarah Valadez – Sarah is a 4 year letterwinner for the Cowgirls. She is a two-time all-district selection. She will be attending Northlake and then Texas Women’s University to study Dentistry.

Kylie Fowler – Kylie is a 2 year letterwinner for the Cowgirls. She will be attending Texas A&M Corpus Christi to study Veterinarian Science.

Jarod Troup – Jarod is a 4 year wrestler and 3 year varsity letterman for the Cowboys and is a captain of this year’s team. He will be attending the University of Texas San Antonio to study Physical Therapy.

Simi Socks – Simi is a three year wrestler and 2 year letterman for the Cowboys. He is a returning all-district selection and will be attending the University of Houston to study Electrical Engineering.

Hank Manning – Hank is a 4 year wrestler and 2 year varsity letterman for the Cowboys. He is planning to attend Colorado State University and study Parks Management.

Jake Smith – Jake is a 4 year wrestler and 2 time letterman for the Cowboys. He is also a former Coppell Youth Wrestler. He will be attending Kansas State to study business.

Collin Bloodworth – Collin is a 4 year wrestler and a varsity letterman for the Cowboys. He is also a former Coppell Youth Wrestler. He will be attending Texas Tech University to Study Mechanical Engineering and Ag,

Luke Calahan – This is Luke’s first year with the Cowboys and is earning his first varsity letter. He will be attending Christopher Newport College in Virginia to study Pre-Law.

Alvin Ebosele - Alvin is a two year wrestler for the Cowboys.

Kylie Craig – Kylie is the lead varsity wrestling trainer for the team. She will be attending Texas Women’s University to study nursing.

Rosanna Jees - Rosanna is a varsity athletic trainer. She plans to attend the University of North Texas to study Pre-Med
