On Monday night the Coppell Cowgirl Soccer team started their season at home against Lebanon Trails (Frisco.) The Cowgirls got off to a quick start with two first half goals from our sensational Freshmen Tabitha Sine and Summer Chen. After setting up Summer on the first goal, Senior Michelle Pak then got in on the action and added one more as Coppell jumped out to an early 3-0 lead at the end of the first half. Michelle Pak would score two more in the second half thanks to a great cross from Junior Miranda Hickey and great combination play from Pak and Senior Reneta Vargas. Some standouts from the game was Summer Chen who made some impressive runs as she carved the defense apart throughout the game and Freshman Monica Morales who controlled the midfield through the air and on the ground . As the final whistle blew the score stood at 5-0 Coppell.

JV also started the season off with a win, beating Lebanon Trail 6-2. Freshman Tatum Montgomery (2), Sophomore Alexa Turati (2), Sophomore Mallory Alvarado (1), and Junior Bella McGill (1) added goals on the night.
