The Cowgirl Wrestling Team won the 12 team Knockout Cowgirl Classic. The team had a strong final round to hold off runner up Timber Creek.
Senior Maria Husain and juniors Scout Carrell and Tucker Sparks we’re tournament champions and all remained undefeated on the year. Sarah Valadez and Annie Lopez finished as tournament runner-ups. Araceli Reynoso was third and Piper Carrell was fourth.
The girls will next compete against state wide competition at the Texas Ladies Classic at Lewisville HS next weekend.
