A lot happened over the weekend so I’ll just give you the nickel tour.

Elks lost a rutting match with the Cowgirls 71-19 for game 1. After that, The Cowgirls took the win out of Winnsboro 65-53 in game 2. Game 3, Tyler did leave a legacy at Coppell…it just wasn’t a winning one, 54-44 Cowgirls. Last but not least for pool play the Cowgirls left the Mustangs in the dust 60-31, they should of splurge for the V8…lesson learned.

In the Championship game the Cowgirls came out hotter than a $2 pistol starting with a 10-0 run to force a early timeout by the Bulldogs. From there the Cowgirls would never look back winning 64-44 to win the Championship!! Jules LaMendola lead the way with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 charge. India Howard had 13 points and 7 rebounds. Ella Spiller had 14 points, 4 assist, and 2 charges. Waverly Hassman had 8 points and 7 assist.
