The Cowboy tennis team split a pair of contests last week. On Tuesday the team lost a tight district match with Marcus 9-10. The team had a couple of opportunities to pull out the victory, but ultimately came up short. On Saturday the Cowboys rebounded by defeating Tyler Legacy 17-2.

Against Marcus the team faltered in doubles posting a 3-4 mark at the turn. They split the singles matches 6-6 giving Marcus the overall edge. On Saturday doubles led the way. The Cowboys led 6-1 after doubles allowing the team to cruise to a 17-2 victory.

The JV squad posted back to back victories over Plano West and Marcus bringing their overall record to 3-0.

This week the Varsity & JV will both host Hebron on Tuesday and Varsity will host Allen on Friday.
