Coppell Cowboys Varsity Victorious Over Hebron In Low-Scoring Affair
Both teams were strong on the mound Tuesday, but the Cowboys defeated Hebron 3-2. Chayton Krauss allowed just four hits to Hebron. Hebron got things moving in the first inning, when Mccown lined out, driving in a run. Krauss earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for the Cowboys. The pitcher lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out eight. Tobin Oler took the loss for Hebron. Slate started the game for Hebron. The pitcher went four and a third innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out three. The Cowboys tallied one home run on the day. Krauss went yard in the fifth inning.
