Cowboys traveled to Plano West last night for a district 6-6a match up. On a very windy night and the back end of a 2 game stretch the Cowboys emerge with a 1-0 win over a solid Plano West Team. The score remained 0-0 at the half with the Cowboys generating some dangerous opportunities. Ten minutes in to the second half, after some great ball movement, Walker Stone was able to find Nicolas Radicic in front of the Plano West goal to make it 1-0. Over the next 30 minutes the Cowboys did a great job limiting Plano West chances at goal and come away with a very well earned 3 points. With the win and a Marcus loss to Plano, the Cowboys now sit at top of the district standings with a 2 point lead. The Cowboys are back in action tomorrow night (Thursday 2/25) vs Flower Mound who are on a 2 game winning streak.
