The Coppell Cowboys hosted the Plano Wildcats Friday in yet another 6-6A District Battle. The Cowboys led the whole way in this one and finished with a final score of 59-54.

Naz Brown led the way with 23 points for the Cowboys, while Anthony Black chipped in 17. Tim O'Hearn was a force on the glass, pulling in a career high 9 boards.

With the win and a FM Marcus loss, the Cowboys now sit atop the District Standings, tied for first place.

Coppell is back in action Tuesday, 1/19, against Plano West for the last game of the first round of District.
