Friday night the Cowboys traveled to Highland Park to take on the Scots. After getting off to a fast start in their first two games, tonight, the Cowboys would not get going until the third quarter. The Cowboys would finally mount a fearless comeback and put themselves to win the game late. However, in the end, the Cowboys would run out of time and fall short 42-36.
Defensively, Jack McAdams would record 12 tackles. Seven of which were solo tackles. Zach Stricker and Tim O'Hearn would pitch in 10 tackles each. Brayden Watson recorded 9 tackles as well.
Offensively, Ryan Walker passed for 310 yards and 5 touchdowns. He also rushed for 73 yards on the ground. KJ Liggins pulled in 9 catches for 112 yards and 1 touchdown. Anthony Black hauled in 11 catches for 105 yards and 3 touchdowns. This week the Cowboys have a bye week. Next week they travel to Plano to take on the Plano Wildcats.
