Friday night the Cowboys played their first home game in front of a small, albeit enthusiastic crowd. After trailing early, the Cowboys got their feet under them and never looked back. In the end, the Cowboys would outlast the Mustangs 42-35. Pacing the offense was Ryan Walker who threw for 350 yards and 4 touchdowns. Chison Ngwu lead the rushing attack by rushing for 158 and a touchdown. KJ Liggins had an outstanding night receiving with 8 catches for 158 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Defensively, Tim O'Hearn lead all tackles with 14. Preston Rogers and Zach Stricker helped the defensive effort by recording 13 tackles each. Zach Stricker also had an interception for a touchdown. Brayden Watson had 9 tackles as well. Next week the Cowboys travel to Highland Park to take on the Scots.
