Coppell Tennis secured the District 7-6A championship Tuesday with a home win over Plano East at the CHS Tennis Center, keeping its undefeated season intact at 17-0.

The Cowboys and Cowgirls entered the match with a chance to lock up the district title and handled the moment without much drama, continuing the steady play that has carried them through the fall season.
Mihika Modi delivered wins in both doubles and singles. She teamed with Anna Hartley for a 6-1, 6-2 doubles victory, then followed with a 6-0, 6-2 singles win.

Eshaan Reddy also won twice. Reddy and Sunny Tupurani took their doubles match 6-3, 6-2, before Reddy battled through a tighter No. 1 singles match, winning 6-3, 7-6 and taking the second-set tiebreaker 10-8.

Rachel Howe and Chloe Ahmad added another convincing doubles win, cruising to a 6-1, 6-1 victory.
With the win, Coppell moved to 17-0 and officially claimed the district championship, adding another milestone to an unbeaten regular season that has already included wins over Plano West and Lake Travis.
