Coppell Tennis remains unbeaten with a 19-0 road win over Plano on Sept. 1 at Plano Senior High School.

The Cowboys swept all seven doubles matches in the official lineup before winning all 12 singles matches to complete the shutout.

Coppell was dominant in doubles. Palkin Gangwal and Gloria Sun won 6-0, 6-0, while Anna Hartley and Mihika Modi also posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory. On the boys side, Kasi Kavali and Cody Chow won 6-1, 6-0, and Ethan Yang and Ivan Morales followed with a 6-1, 6-1 win.

In singles, Leyton Wang did not drop a game in a 6-0, 6-0 victory. Prabhat Pandey won 6-1, 6-0, while Anna Hartley, Ananya Miyapuram, Madison Fang and Anusha Patki each earned straight-set wins while surrendering one game or fewer in at least one set.

Mihika Modi provided one of the closest matches of the afternoon. After dropping her opening set 3-6, Modi responded with a 6-4 second-set win and took the match with a 10-4 tiebreaker.

Coppell also won all four additional singles matches, including an 8-0 victory from Sofia Rothey.

The win moves Coppell to 10-0 on the season. The Cowboys return to the road Sept. 8 to face Lake Highlands at 4:30 p.m. at Lake Highlands High School.
