Coppell Volleyball earned a 3-0 win over Nolan Catholic on Sept. 1 at CHS Arena, taking the match 25-13, 25-16 and 27-25.
The Cowgirls controlled the first two sets before finishing off the sweep with a close win in the third.
Finley Penniman led Coppell with 18 kills and two blocks, while Brooke Felix added 16 kills and 10 digs. Zoey Ponsen finished with 46 assists and seven digs.
Defensively, Hailey Chew recorded 17 digs and two aces, Addison Howard added 14 digs and three aces, and Alette Brown finished with 10 digs. Taliah Ellis contributed four blocks.
The win improved Coppell to 10-6 on the season.
It was also a strong night across the program. JV won 25-11, 25-6, while the 9B team earned a 25-13, 25-13 sweep. The 9A team did not play.
