Coppell Volleyball fell to Keller in three competitive sets, 25-21, 25-21, 25-20, on August 25 at the Coppell High School Arena.

Taylor Mechsner led the Cowgirls offensively with 10 kills. Brooke Felix added nine kills and 12 digs, while Zoey Ponsen recorded 24 assists and 13 digs. Hailey Chew led Coppell defensively with 16 digs.

The match was also Coppell Volleyball’s Elementary Night, welcoming students, families, teachers and staff from Coppell elementary schools to the arena. The evening included an elementary school cheer challenge, along with a postgame meet-and-greet and autograph session with the Cowgirls. Elementary students were also invited to enjoy free ice cream provided by TVA.

The loss moves Coppell to 6-5 on the season.

At the subvarsity level, JV earned a 2-0 victory, winning 25-13 and 25-17. The 9A team fell 2-1 by scores of 20-25, 25-14 and 22-25, while 9B lost 2-0, 25-16 and 25-20.
