Coppell Volleyball continued its undefeated start to the season Thursday, earning a pair of straight-set victories on the opening day of the Fieldhouse Tournament at the Grapevine Fieldhouse.

The Cowgirls opened tournament play with a convincing 2-0 sweep of TAPPS powerhouse Bishop Lynch. Brooke Felix led Coppell with 11 kills, Zoey Ponsen recorded 18 assists, and Hailey Chew added four digs.

Coppell followed with another 2-0 sweep, this time over El Paso High. Felix finished with eight kills, while Finley Penniman recorded five blocks. Ponsen added 21 assists and six digs.

With the two victories, the Cowgirls improve to 3-0 on the season.

The Cowgirls are back in action Friday after a 2-0 opening day.
