Senior duo of Lexie Patton and Gabby Rice went undefeated throughout the tournament without dropping a set and earned the title of Regional Champion. Lexie Patton is the first player from Coppell to qualify for the state tournament all four years of her high school career. She is also a three-time District Champion, three-time Regional Champion, and three-time state medalist. Varsha Sivaprasad placed third in girls' singles as a freshman. Her only loss at the Regional Tournament was to the number one seed from El Paso Coronado in the semifinals. During the third-place match, Varsha went head-to-head with a talented senior from Prosper. The match ended up being over three hours with a score of 1-6, 7-5, 7-5. In the third set, Varsha showed so much grit as she fought back from being down 0-4 but came back to win the match. In boys singles, sophomore Kasi Kavali upset the number four seed from San Angelo Central in the Quarterfinals but went on to lose to the number one seed from Allen in the semifinals. Then Kasi played the number five seed from Jesuit for third place and a chance to qualify for state, but ended up coming up short with a score of 6-0, 1-6, 6-7 (2-7). In girls' doubles, Sejal Singh and Mihika Modi lost to the number two seed from Allen in the semifinals. Then they played the number three seed from San Angelo Central for an opportunity to qualify for state, but came up short with a score of 1-6, 7-6 (9-7), 1-6.
