The Coppell Varsity Cowgirls had a great day on offense with 15 hits to defeat the Lewisville Farmers with the final score being 15-2.
Madison Scott drove in five runs on two triples to help the Cowgirls Offensively. Lily Bowen led the Cowgirls on the mound, giving up one hit and two runs over three innings, striking out five and walking two. In addition, Lena Gay threw two innings in relief, only allowing two hits. Emma Praytor led the Cowgirls offense, going 3 for 3 at the plate. Courtney Hargrove, Nicole Jiminez, Abbie Pison, and Cecelia Borque each collected a couple of hits for the Cowgirls.
The Cowgirls play next at home on Saturday, 4/11, where they will have Parents' Day to appreciate their amazing parents.
