Despite a dominant regular season and a 10-game winning streak entering the playoffs, Coppell fell just short in a 2-1 loss to Keller on Tuesday night at Keller ISD Stadium.
The match marked a much tighter contest than the teams’ earlier meeting on January 2, when Keller earned a 3-0 win. This time, Coppell matched Keller’s intensity throughout in a clean, competitive game.
The atmosphere reflected the moment, with the stadium more than half full and strong support on both sides. Coppell’s presence was felt, as the Cowgirls once again traveled well and brought energy to the postseason stage.
The loss brings Coppell’s season to a close at 22-3-1. While the result fell just short, the Cowgirls’ playoff success and consistency throughout the season set a high standard moving forward.
