Coppell Varsity Cowboys earned a hard-fought 2-1 walk-off victory over Little Elm on Friday. Sealing the win in the bottom of the ninth, Cain Frosk delivered the game-winning single. Coppell’s pitching was dominant, led by Jackson Floren. He threw a complete game, allowing just one run on three hits while striking out seven. Floren also starred at the plate, going 3-for-5 and tying the game in the sixth with a triple. Dillon Slaton added two hits to help power the offense.
With the win, Coppell builds momentum heading into their next game against Lewisville.
