The Coppell Varsity Cowboys lost to Guyer Varsity Wildcats 6–3 in a back-and-forth
game. Guyer scored first in the third inning, but Coppell took a 2–1 lead after a home
run by Zander Montgomery. Guyer regained the lead in the fourth, and although Coppell
tied the game at 3–3 in the sixth on a hit by Dillon Slaton. Jackson Floren started on the
mound for Coppell, pitching over four innings. Montgomery led Coppell offensively with
two RBIs
