Coppell started fast, scoring four runs in the first inning with big hits from Dillon Slaton and
Suhoon Cho, plus a sacrifice fly from Ryan Hill. They added more runs in the third inning with a
triple from Cade Slaton and a double from Jackson Floren to take a big lead.
Frisco Memorial fought back after falling behind by seven runs and made it a close game, but
Coppell stayed in front until the end.
Floren led the team with three hits, and both he and Dillon Slaton drove in two runs. Bennett
Head earned the win, and Slaton pitched the final outs to secure the save. The Cowboys also
played strong defense and didn’t make any errors
