The Coppell Cowboys wasted no time getting started, as Cain Frosk launched a solo home run
in the first inning to set the tone. In the third, the Cowboys added three more runs thanks to
clutch hits from Luis Perez, Dillon Slaton, and Cade Slaton to stretch the lead.
On the mound, Zander Montgomery delivered a strong performance, striking out eight over four
innings to earn the win. Dillon Slaton had a big day at the plate with three hits, and both he and
Suhoon Cho drove in two runs. The Cowboys also stayed aggressive on the bases, swiping four
steals.
