The Coppell Cowgirls turned a tight first half into a commanding result Tuesday night, defeating Hebron 4–0 on the road behind a decisive second-half surge and a disciplined defensive performance.
Coppell took control early, scoring once in the opening half to build a 1–0 lead at halftime. The Cowgirls controlled possession and tempo through the first 40 minutes, limiting Hebron’s opportunities while steadily applying pressure in the attacking third.
After the break, Coppell elevated its play and broke the match open.
The Cowgirls erupted for three second-half goals, separating themselves and putting the result out of reach. Goals from Neerali Kapadia, Emeline Holder, Jaehee Lee, and Katie Kroft highlighted a balanced scoring effort. Kroft led the attack with two goals, consistently finding space and finishing chances as Coppell pushed forward.
Ball movement and unselfish play fueled the Cowgirls’ offensive success. Holder recorded two assists, while Rachel Mathew, Kapadia, and Lily Ellison each added assists as Coppell’s buildup play broke down Hebron’s defensive shape.
On the defensive end, Coppell remained organized throughout the match, limiting Hebron to a few quality chances and preserving the shutout. The Cowgirls’ ability to win the ball, transition quickly, and control the pace proved decisive, particularly in the second half.
With the victory, Coppell showcased its depth, balance, and ability to separate after halftime, closing the night with a strong road performance against Hebron.
