After two long days, the Cowgirls return home from Arlington with three champions, the team title, and a multitude of medalists at the 30th annual Girls Lamar Invitational.

The Girls Lamar Invitational is a high school girls wrestling tournament held each January at the Arlington ISD Athletic Complex in Arlington, Texas. It’s an invitational-style competition where girls’ wrestling teams and individual wrestlers compete in folkstyle matches across multiple weight classes. Region rivals Arlington Martin (2nd with 114 points), 5A powerhouse Argyle (3rd with 107.5 points), and a multitude of other district, region, and competitive 6A opponents met us on the mat.
