The Coppell Cowboys battled on the road Friday night but came up short in a 69–55 loss to Little Elm at the Lobo gym.

Coppell stayed competitive throughout the contest, working to generate quality looks and staying aggressive offensively, but Little Elm was able to create separation with efficient scoring stretches and timely execution.

Offensively, the Cowboys were led by Isaiah Fleming, who finished with a team-high 12 points while attacking the basket and drawing contact. Colin Griffith added nine points, providing a steady presence and contributing on both ends of the floor. Sebastian Peña chipped in eight points, shooting efficiently and helping Coppell stay within striking distance.

Additional scoring came from Robert Watson, who finished with six points, and Levi Owira, who added three points off the bench. Coppell showed balance across the lineup, with multiple players contributing in limited minutes as the Cowboys worked through rotations and matchups.

Despite the loss, Coppell showed positives defensively, recording three steals and a blocked shot, while competing on the glass and continuing to share the ball offensively. The Cowboys finished with 12 assists and moved the ball well against Little Elm’s defensive pressure ?.

Coppell will look to regroup and apply the lessons learned from the road matchup as district play continues. The Cowboys remain focused on growth, execution, and building consistency as they move forward in the season.
