The boys wrestling team took 3rd place out of 20 teams in the prestigious Putnam City Classic in Oklahoma this past weekend. Nationally ranked Edmond North HS won the meet.
The team was led by Sehej Mehta and Duncan Ross, both of whom were tournament champions. Liam Gatlin and Pedro Ibarra were in 3rd place. Ethan Pate was in fourth place, and freshman Ian Todd took 5th. Several other wrestlers were top 8, and the whole team scored points towards the trophy.
The varsity team next competes December 12 and 13 at St. Mark's.
