GEORGETOWN, TX (Thu., Dec. 4) — The Coppell Cowboys put together a dominant team showing Thursday afternoon at the Jack Frost Tournament, rolling past Hanks (El Paso) by a final score of 89–57.
Coppell showcased balanced scoring, unselfish ball movement, and relentless defensive pressure to control the game from the opening tip. Sebastian Peña led the Cowboys with 19 points, while Levi Owira added 17 and Jacob Anene chipped in 16. Sibu Socks contributed 8 points in the win, continuing his strong tournament play.
The Cowboys’ tempo and efficiency overwhelmed Hanks as multiple players converted at high percentages from the field. Coppell’s depth was on full display, with big contributions throughout the rotation to sustain pressure and build the lead.
Defensively, Coppell forced tough looks, created turnovers, and controlled the glass, allowing the Cowboys to push the pace and capitalize in transition.
