This Saturday, 9/12/25, the Coppell Cowgirls competed at the annual Lovejoy Fall XC Festival in McKinney. The course, located at Myers Park, is a difficult one, with almost a 300 ft. incline in total. The course features hills and slopes that prove challenging for many runners, but did not deter the Cowgirls. On Varsity Girls Elite, Finleigh Sanders Burke, Laurel Storey, and Bess Williams excelled, and all ran in the top 100. For JV Girls Elite, Shrriya Bedse led the Cowgirls with a time of 24:06. Great work today, Cowgirls, and can’t wait to see what next week’s meet in College Station brings!
