The Cowboys picked up their 5th district win on Friday night in a 3-1 victory over Lewisville. Jackson Floren was dominant on the mound once again for the Cowboys, picking up the win with a complete game, striking out 11 while limiting the Farmers to 4 hits, only giving up one run.

Floren also led the Cowboys' offense, going 2 for 3 with a triple and a run. Zander Montgomer had a 2 RBI triple in the 3rd inning, scoring Floren and Mason Trichel, who had singled.

At the plate, the Cowboys collected four hits and 3 runs, ending the game 3-1 and a Coppell win!

Next up for the Cowboys will be a 2-game series with new district rival Denton Braswell. Game 1 will be on Tuesday night, which is Party at the Parks at Cowboy Field. We hope to see everyone out there! Go Cowboys!!
