Boys Varsity Red Golf Team wins the Byron Nelson Invitational Tournament at Trophy Club Country Club. On Monday, February 24th, the Boys Varsity Red Golf Team of Rishab Shroff, Charlie Sauer, Jack Patton, Beckam Sanguras and Rishi Patel competed in the Byron Nelson Invitational Tournament at Trophy Club Country Club. The team turned in a score of 305 which earned them the tournament championship, beating out the host team Byron Nelson High School by five strokes and 5A power Prosper Walnut Grove by 14 strokes. Rishab Shroff led the team, turning in a score of 74 and finished in a three-way tie for 3rd Place. Charlie Sauer also had a solid round shooting a 76 and finishing in 7th place. The Varsity Red team will compete again on Friday and Saturday, March 7th & 8th, at the Region 1-6A Boys Preview Tournament.
