Laura Boyd is a computer science teacher and middle school coach in Coppell ISD, working with seventh-grade volleyball, basketball, and track. Before Coppell, she coached volleyball, basketball, and softball at Callisburg High School and Middle School. Her volleyball and middle school basketball teams won consecutive tournament championships.

Boyd earned a Kinesiology degree from the University of North Texas. She coaches to help students gain confidence and build resilience through mistakes, supported by clear expectations, intentional coaching, and positive relationships. Outside school, she enjoys traveling, cooking and baking, and healthy competition.
