Jordan Grimes

Jordan Grimes serves as the Head Girls Wrestling Coach and teaches chemistry at Coppell High School. Before joining Coppell, she led both the girls and boys wrestling programs at Frisco Independence High School. Her year-round approach to athlete development helped the program consistently produce regional qualifiers.

Grimes was a four-year varsity wrestler and state qualifier in high school and competed as a member of Team Texas before continuing her career at Schreiner University. In college, she served as team captain, qualified for the national tournament three times, and earned National All-American honors in 2020. She was also a four-time Academic All-American and graduated as her class valedictorian.

Grimes brings that same balance of academic and athletic achievement to Coppell. She challenges wrestlers to take ownership of their preparation, respond constructively to setbacks, and develop the confidence and discipline required to meet high expectations.

Her talents extend beyond the classroom and wrestling mat. In high school, Grimes was an All-Region bass player and performed as a state soloist.
