Emily Janicek serves as the Girls Athletic Coordinator and Head Softball Coach at Coppell High School. A graduate of Sam Houston State University with degrees in English and Secondary Education, she believes coaching is about building relationships that have a lasting impact on student-athletes. Her program emphasizes servant leadership, teamwork, and preparing young women for success beyond athletics. Prior to joining Coppell, her teams earned three consecutive playoff appearances, a district championship, an undefeated district title, an Area semifinal appearance, and Coach of the Year honors. Known for her enthusiasm and positive approach, Janicek brings energy and purpose to Coppell Athletics. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, running, cooking, working out, and spending time with her family.
