Leah Henderson teaches Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education while coaching at Coppell Middle School North. A Texas A&M University graduate in Human Development and Kinesiology, Henderson has spent her career working with middle school and high school athletes, including leadership roles as a girls athletic coordinator in Fort Worth and Grapevine-Colleyville ISDs.

Her coaching experience includes a state runner-up volleyball season and a zone volleyball championship. Henderson chose the profession because of the lasting influence her own high school coach had on her, and she hopes to give students that same encouragement and belief.

A former volleyball, basketball, and track athlete, Henderson also played club volleyball at Texas A&M. Outside of school, she enjoys cooking, pickleball, and interior design—and once sang the national anthem before her high school volleyball games.
